Find, favourite and place furniture

Open a design and confirm the room use and available dimensions. Catalogue counts depend on installed models.

Where to find itDesign studio → Furniture catalogue
  1. 01

    Filter the catalogue

Choose an object type and room, then search by name, alias or English keyword. Search within subcategories instead of browsing the whole catalogue.

  2. 02

    Inspect and favourite

Check the name and initial dimensions. The heart saves a favourite without placing it in the scene; favourites can still be filtered and searched.

  3. 03

    Place in the scene

Select a model and place it on the floor, drag it onto the canvas or use the apartment centre. Press Esc before confirmation to cancel.

  4. 04

    Check dimensions

Inspect width, depth, height and direction before saving. Reopen the design to check the result.

Check your work

Confirm the intended number of objects. Favourites and placed objects are separate records.

Can I reuse favourites in another design?

Yes. They belong to the current account and company, rather than one design version.

What if I cannot find a model?

Clear overly narrow filters or build a suitable model with the custom or bespoke furniture tools.

Move, resize and rotate furniture precisely

Confirm the actual dimensions and required circulation space. Check each field unit.

Where to find itDesign studio → Select furniture → Object settings
  1. 01

    Move the object

Drag the selected object or enter coordinates. In the design canvas, arrow keys usually move 10 cm; hold Shift for 1 cm adjustments.

  2. 02

    Set width, depth and height

Enter the actual dimensions. Some models also support structural or component changes in the custom editor.

  3. 03

    Set rotation and elevation

Rotate or enter an angle; use +90° for a quick turn. Bottom elevation is different from object height. Use placement modes for wall or surface objects.

  4. 04

    Duplicate, undo and save

Duplicate when needed and undo mistakes. Check the footprint in 2D and appearance in 3D before saving.

Check your work

Check nearby furniture, doors and room boundaries after resizing.

Does the system prevent every collision?

No. Some footprints and placement rules are checked, but this is not full physics or circulation validation.

Why does an object move outside the apartment?

Check the rotated footprint against the boundary. An oversized object may need a smaller size or a new position.

Place objects on surfaces or walls

Place the table, cabinet or shelf first, then add decorations, lamps or wall-mounted objects.

Where to find itDesign studio → Select object → Placement
  1. 01

    Choose a placement mode

Use automatic placement for small objects, Surface / shelf for supported objects, or Wall-mounted for wall lights, pictures and cabinets.

  2. 02

    Select a supporting surface

Move onto the tabletop or shelf and check the valid preview. An interior view helps target a thin shelf rather than its frame or a gap.

  3. 03

    Adjust elevation and direction

Check the bottom elevation and named support. Wall-mounted objects can move along the wall; manual elevation does not retain support attachment.

  4. 04

    Test the attachment

Move the supporting furniture and check that its objects follow. Return to floor releases the attachment; freely rotating a wall object may release its wall fixing.

Check your work

Check from the side for floating or intersecting objects, then save and reopen.

Why will an object not fit at the edge?

The support must contain its footprint with a margin. Round table edges and shelf gaps may not support it.

Does elevation change object height?

No. Elevation is the base position; the object height is a separate dimension.

Group furniture and replace models in place

Place the objects you want to move together, such as a sofa and coffee table.

Where to find itDesign studio → Groups / selected-object catalogue
  1. 01

    Select several objects

Use the group list or Shift / Ctrl selection. Check the selection before including distant or unrelated furniture.

  2. 02

    Create a group

Use Group or Ctrl+G. Moving or rotating a member applies to the group. Use Ungroup or Ctrl+Shift+G to separate it.

  3. 03

    Replace a member

Select the object to replace, then choose a similar model in the catalogue. Existing dimensions are retained by default; turn this off to use the new model size.

  4. 04

    Check related settings

Review materials, product references and support attachments after replacement; not all settings transfer between models. Save when the group is positioned correctly.

Check your work

Replacement should not increase the object count or move unrelated members.

Can I change one member’s finish?

Yes. Materials, colours and sizes remain individually editable; group movement and rotation apply together.

Why was another object added?

Select the original and check replacement mode first. Add leaves replacement mode and places a new object.
