Full instructions and FAQs
Change floors, walls and furniture finishes
Plan the colour scheme and grain direction. Available components depend on the model.
- 01
Select a surface
Choose the floor, wall or furniture first. Where supported, select a frame, cushion or tabletop independently.
- 02
Choose material and colour
Apply suitable fabric, wood, metal or another finish, then adjust the colour. Wall sides, frames and glazing have separate settings.
- 03
Adjust texture scale
Match texture scale and direction to the object. Align wood grain with the panel length and check the scope before applying a finish in bulk.
- 04
Inspect different lighting
Compare daylight, dusk and studio lighting for reflections and shadows. Save before exporting a model image or generating an AI render.
Check your work
Check close-up and whole-home views, including transparent glass and dark surfaces.
Can every part have an independent finish?
It depends on the model’s material structure. The panel lists the parts that can be edited.
Will AI reproduce the finishes exactly?
AI can change details. Confirm design data and actual material selections separately.
Use product photos as AI furniture references
Prepare clear front and side views: up to three JPG, PNG or WebP photos per object, each no larger than 10 MB.
- 01
Select the correct object
Choose the furniture in the scene or object list before opening product references. Keep each photo linked to the correct object.
- 02
Add photos and details
Upload photos or select existing project images. Enter brand, model and details to preserve, such as arm shape and cushion count.
- 03
Frame the object
Save and make the referenced furniture visible in the current camera view. Enabled references outside the camera block submission; disable unused ones.
- 04
Check the reference list
Open AI rendering, check each object-to-photo pairing and generate. Compare the result and refine the instructions if needed.
Check your work
Check that the render record retains the references and the target object matches the intended product.
Do product photos create precise 3D models?
No. They guide AI appearance; the canvas still uses the original editable model.
How many references can a render use?
Up to 12 product photos per generation. Reduce enabled references rather than mixing unrelated furniture into one image.
Add people to compare spatial scale
Complete the main layout first. People are visual scale references, not ergonomic or accessibility compliance checks.
- 01
Choose a person
Select an adult or child model and place it in the area you want to compare.
- 02
Set height
Enter a height from 60 to 220 cm. Resizing keeps the centre beneath the feet; check contact with the floor afterwards.
- 03
Position and rotate
Place the person beside a cabinet, door or seat. Compare interior and overhead views, or duplicate it for another height.
- 04
Check presentation
Choose whether the person should appear in the output, check layers and framing, then save. Use actual measurements for clearances.
Check your work
Check feet on the floor and compare the height value with dimension annotations.
Will the person walk?
No. These are static scale models, not walking simulations.
Can this verify wheelchair access?
No. Check actual dimensions and project requirements separately. The model does not determine compliance.
